Angel Romero
“At the end of the day, it’s just about how we fell in love with the culture. Not about where you were. It doesn’t matter who you are. What ethnicity. Where you’re from. It don’t matter. If there’s a lowrider on the side of the road or maybe even an old-school, I’ll be like Oh My God, do they need help?”
WHAT TO EXPECT
Angel Romero speaks on how her mother sparked her love for cars and lowriding, on how the city continues to target and suppress the lowrider community, on the philanthropic mission behind Dueñas and other car clubs, on the start and growth of the car club and now, the bike club, and on how lowriding is about embracing the culture, community, and family.
